Obituary For Robert Bryant, Sr.

Mr. Robert Lee Bryant, Sr., was born on June 9, 1950, to the late Mr. Ferris Lee and Lottie Mae Bryant in Brooks County Georgia. He was educated in the Brooks County School System.

He was caring, outgoing, and loved his family and friends. On July 13, 2026, he passed away from this earthly home to receive his eternal rest.

He was preceded in death by his ten siblings: Dorothy, Melvin, Ellis, Eugene, Willie, James, Arthur, Jeanette, Diana, and Cynthia.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his sons: Shawn Bryant (Tanecia); Robert Lee Bryant, Jr. (Janice); and Ellis Lyles (Bridgette). His daughters: Lashonda Simmons and Felicia Lucas. His siblings: Frank Bryant (Selena) of Valdosta, Georgia; Mary Manson of Thomasville, Georgia; Ebenezer McFarland of Valdosta, Georgia; and Sylvia Bryant of Cairo, Georgia. His grandchildren: Andre Cloud; Shawn Bryant, Jr.; Rasheka Bryant; Jaylen Bryant; and Jaroc Bryant. A special friend, Linda Tucker and family. A host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11AM at the Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Boston Community Cemetery. Visit this website to view a livestream of the celebration.
