The Obituary

Robert Lee Davis, Jr. was born August 18, 1971 in Quitman, Georgia to Robert Davis (Arnold) and the late Frances G. Davis. He attended the Brooks County School system. He was a member of Shumate Street Church of Christ in Quitman. Robert was employed with Langdale Forrest Products for 17 years.

He passed from this earthly life on March 26, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 20 years Janise S. Davis, whom he shared over 23 years with; also his five sons Marquez Denson, Valdosta, GA, Terrance Davis (Antoneisha), Fayetteville, NC, Derek Williams, Philadelphia, PA, Devon Cromartie (Kaitlyn), Valdosta, GA, Dechandre Cromartie, Valdosta, GA; mother-in-law Linda Ray, Gainesville, FL; three sisters Patricia Garrison, Carolyn Trejo (Rafael), Pynia Butts; sister-in-law Chandra Knight (Jerry), Gainesville, FL; special cousin/brother Jerome Campbell; nine grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 3PM at Mt. Moriah M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 12PM-6PM. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration on Sunday.
