Obituary For Rose Marie Adams Gray

Mrs. Rose Marie Adams Gray was born on August 15, 1954 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Lewis (Tut) and Bessie Adams.

She peacefully departed this life on May 20, 2025 at South Georgia Medical Center, at the graceful age of 70.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Adams and Bessie Adams, her daughter Kisha Adams Price, her two siblings Lewis Adams, Jr. and Anthony Adams, and loving husband, Mr. James (Bot) Gray.

As a young woman, Rose attended the Brooks County School System.

In her early years of life, Rose married the late Mr. Henry Frank Edwards, Sr., and to this union three beautiful children were born who were: Kisha (Deceased), Henry Jr., and Antonio.

In the later part of her life, Rose met Navyman, Mr. James (Bot) Gray until his health failed and he departed this life.

Rose leaves to cherish her memories to: her two loving sons, Henry (Nicole) Edwards and Antonio (Donna) Edwards. Her 18 grandchildren: Demond, Keundra, Jerome, Shanique, Damion, Tamiah, Ke’Nyriah, Hendreck, Sunardia, Jamirra, Kysaiah, Clarence, Henry III, Diamond, Ayden, Trinity, Travis, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her siblings: Betty Wright (George), Frankie Adams (Tammy), Jeffery Adams (Annie), and Karen Owens (Flo). Her two sister-in-laws, Lucille (Lewis Adams, Jr.) and Debra Bean Adams (Anthony Adams). She leaves to cherish her memories to a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. She also leaves to cherish her memories to one special, life-long friend, Mr. Jefferey Wyche and the Wyche family.

Visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 12PM-7PM.
