Sandra James was born on November 28, 1960 in Brooks County Georgia to the late Richard Miles, Jr. and Annette Miles.
In addition to her father, Sandra was proceeded in death by her brothers, Willie Henry and Gregory James; her nephew, Kendrick James.
Sandra was a member of Welcome Hope Christian Church. She also enjoyed listening to her brother-in-law, Pastor Victor Rountree preach on Sundays.
She graduated from Brooks County High School in Quitman Georgia Class of 1980. To know Sandra was to love her. Always checking on others whether it was your birthday or just to see how you were doing. That was the heart of Sandra. She loved people, but she especially loved her daughter April and her granddaughter Taityana.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, April Miles; her granddaughter, Taityana Miles; her loving mother, Annette Miles; her brothers, Gary James, Ken James and Dale Miles; her sisters, Cheryl Rountree (Victor ), Joanne Jenkins, Tammy Brown (Peter), Debbie James and Wendy Thomas (Jeff); she also leaves a host of nieces, nephews relatives and sorrowing and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 1PM-6PM.
Home going services will be Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Welcome Hope Christian Church, 3186 Valdosta Highway, Barney, GA 31625 at 11AM. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Morven, GA.
