The Obituary

Mrs. Sheila Lavern Edwards Williams was born on June 20, 1959 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Pearlie Edwards Head and Horace A.P. Jackson. She was educated in the Brooks County School System. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Joseph M. Williams.

She loved her family and friends and would often offer heartfelt wisdom, advice and conversation. She will be remembered by her loved ones in a very special way. She passed from this earthly life on January 25, 2021. She preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters Sherry Head Miller and Tonya Head Sipplen; and her brother Darious Head Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children Tobias Edwards (Alfreda), Seimeka Williams and Coddrick Williams; her sister Angie Head; her brothers Danny Head, Gerrick Head, and Jeffrey Head; aunts Dorothy Brown and Florence Boatman; uncles Aaron Edwards Sr. And Eddie Edwards; 10 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside services will be Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2PM at Mt. Zion M.B. Church Cemetery in Pavo, GA. Visitation will be Saturday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 3PM-7PM.
