Walter Truman Christian was born on January I1, 1949, in Quitman, Georgia, to the late Theodore Christian and Kuby Christian of Brooks County.
Walter, also known to his family and friends as Pee Wee, graduated from Brooks County High School in 1968. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam War veteran.
He departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Tony Wilson, and partner Linda Hill; his brothers, Diamond, Tom Jack, Jessie James, Reuben, and Theodore; and his sisters, Marie James, Mildred Ashley, Dorothy Wolf, Hannah Reen King, and Lillie Rose Christian.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Randolph (Shakena) of Hudson, Florida, and Rashad Hill of Quitman, Georgia; nine grandchildren: Rachel Randolph, Sarah Randolph, Imir McDougal, Neveah Hill, Justice Hill, Skylar Hill, Loyalty Hill, Royalty Hill, Sariyah Hill; his sister, Mabel Robinson (Mack E.); his brother, Jimmy (Sally); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to his nieces, Renee' Robinson, La'Teisha Stevens, and Patrice Turner, for their selfless service to Walter during his later years.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11AM at Beulah Hill Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Lewis, officiating.
