God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were getting hard to climb. He gently closed the eyes of our loving brother and whispered, “Come on Home my child, your weary days, hours of sleepless nights are finished, come where there is rest.”
Mr. Willie Irvin Brinson, “Pop” was born May 1, 1956, to the late Sam and Katie Brinson. He was of the Baptist faith. He attended the Brooks County School System. He later worked for Mr. Gene McDonald as a farmer for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his sisters, Ruby Brinson, Quitman, GA, Christine Brinson, Valdosta, GA, Lula Phillips, Valdosta, GA, Ida Huewitt, Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Lee Brown, Jr. (Ethel), Quitman, GA, Robert Arnold, Valdosta, GA, Charlie Will Brinson, Ft. Myers, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends, including his special friends, The McDonald Family, Angela Brown and Johnny Fountain.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the Church of Perfecting Saints in Quitman, GA with Pastor Calvin Williams, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Grooverville Cemetery. The repast will be held back at the Church of Perfecting Saints annex.
