Obituary For Curtis Cunningham, Jr.

Curtis Cunningham Jr., 87, entered eternal rest February 14, 2021 at MUSC Heath Lancaster in Lancaster, SC. Mr. Cunningham was born on November 20, 1933 in Lancaster County South Carolina to the late Curtis Cunningham, Sr., and Elaine G. Cunningham. He was married to Barbara Drakeford Cunningham.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Barbara of Heath Springs, SC; two sons, Marvin F. Cunningham and Napoleon Cunningham both of Omaha, Nebraska; two daughters, Gwendolyn C. Thompson (Barry), Lancaster, SC and L. Denise Green (Rashad), Moore SC; three brothers, Howard Cunningham, Leon Cunningham (Gwen) and Clarence Cunningham all of Heath Springs, SC; four sisters, Alfreda Wright and Vertie Jackson both of Buffalo, NY, Arrelia McClurkin (Willie B.) of Rock Hill, SC and Cynthia Clear-Booker (Richard) of Matoaca, VA and eight grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at Stewart Funeral Home by Reverend Margie Belk and Reverend Barry Thompson with burial in the Cedar Creek AME Zion Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be 3:00 – 6:00 pm Thursday at Stewart Funeral Home.
