Obituary For Darrell Mingo
Darrell “Trey” Montrey Mingo, 27, departed this life on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. He was the son of Sharen Brace and Darrell Mingo. He was born on February 3, 1993 in Lancaster, SC.
Trey was a member of Cedar Creek Methodist Church. Trey was educated in the Lancaster County School System and was a 2011 graduate of Lancaster High School.
Those left to cherish his memories are his parents Sharen Brace of Lancaster, SC and Darrell Mingo (Crystal) of Monroe, NC; his stepfather, Boysie Bufford of Lancaster, SC; one sister, Yani Fontenot of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Alex Barnes of Columbia, SC; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Linda Mingo of Lancaster, SC; goddaughter, Kaydence Chambers of Lancaster, SC; seven aunts; seven uncles; many great-aunts and great-uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2020 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Services will be conducted by Reverend Willie J. Duncan and Reverend Christopher Harris.
Viewing will be Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Stewart Funeral Home.

Sharen, I am so sorry about Trey. I remember when he was born. He was always respectful and kind to me. I will miss him and his beautiful smile.
