Gale Johnson Truesdale entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at White Oak Manor in Lancaster, South Carolina. She was born in Lancaster County South Carolina. She was the daughter of Daisy L. Johnson and the late James Henry Johnson.
Gale accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Baptist Church. Later in life she joined United Bible Way Church.
Gale was educated in the Lancaster County School System. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. She continued her education at Winthrop College in Rock Hill South Carolina.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Charles "Tony" Truesdale of Heath Springs, SC; two sons, James C. Truesdale and Jared X. Truesdale of Heath Springs, SC; one daughter, Ashanti T. Truesdale of Lancaster, SC; her mother, Daisy L. Johnson of Heath Springs, S.C. one sister, Samantha Johnson of Heath Springs; one grandson, Kymani A. Truesdale; one niece, Jacqulina Anthony; one aunt, Etta Bell Crawford of Lancaster, S.C.; four uncles, Walter Harris and Joe Lee Harris of Baltimore, MD; Roger Harris of Lancaster, S.C. and William Baker of Buffalo, NY; one brother-in-law, Bobby Truesdale of Washington, DC.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 11, 2019 at United Bible Way Church by the Reverend Dr. Kenny W. Rose. Interment in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be Friday , 1:00p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Stewart Funeral Home
