Janie Bonita Anthony, affectionately known as “Neet”, 53, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 1, 2021 at MUSC Ashley River Tower in Charleston, SC. She was the daughter of the late Sammie L. and Katie Clyburn Coleman.
Janie was educated in the Lancaster County School System. She was a 1986 graduate of Lancaster High School.
Janie was a member of Mt. Carmel A.M.E. Zion Church. She retired as an CNA.
Janie was united in holy matrimony to Darrol Anthony.
Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of Heath Springs, SC; two sons, Michael Coleman (Patricia) of Heath Springs, SC and Darren Anthony (Chelsy) of Lancaster, SC; one daughter, Christina Anthony (Douglas) of Heath Springs, SC; four sisters, Karen Coleman, Sheron Anthony, Pamela Coleman, and Demetria Coleman, all of Lancaster, SC; six grandchildren, Alexis Coleman, Makali Coleman, Chasity Kershaw, Jacob Coleman, Malachi Kershaw, and Jeremiah Anthony.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Mt. Carmel AME Zion church by Pastor Eric L. Franks.
Viewing will be 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Stewart Funeral Home.
