Mandrea Lovet Tate,56, departed this life on July 7, 2022. He was the son of the late Lovet Stover and the late Geraldine Tate Flowers.
Mandrea, affectionately known as “Gramps,” “Slim” or “Drea” was educated in the Lancaster County System. He was a 1984 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Kershaw, South Carolina and a 1991 graduate of Southeastern Community College of Professional Truck Driving in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Left to cherish his memories are two daughters, Erica.M. Mickle and Andrea Price; five sisters, Melissa A. Tate, Monique.T. McDow (Barry), Michelle Davis, Mary Washington, and Jeanice James; two brothers, James D. Flowers (Arlene) and John D. Flowers (Dave); an adopted brother, Derrick L. Tate (Deedra); three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 12:00, Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Stewart Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Reverend Jerusha Gaither and Reverend Benjamin Mingo. Burial will be in the IC Clinton Cemetery.
Viewing will be 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at the funeral home.
