Obituary For Veronica McIlwain
Ms. Veronica McIlwain, 44, affectionately known as “Roni” entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 26, 2021.Roni was the daughter of Emily Truesdale, the late Bel T. McIlwain and Franklin Truesdale. She was born March 29, 1977, in Lancaster County South Carolina.
Roni was educated in the Lancaster County School System. She was a 1996 graduate of Lancaster High School.
Roni was baptized at an early age and joined First Kershaw Baptist Church.
Roni was presently employed at MUSC- Health Lancaster. Left to cherish her fond memories are four sons, Ahdreh McIlwain, Javhnte McIlwain, Markevis Rudisell, Jr. and Jarveh Mcllwain all of Lancaster, SC; her mother and stepfather, Emily and Franklin Truesdale of Lancaster, SC; four sisters, Cynthia Jones (Mack) and Sha Asia Earth (Shaborn) both of Lancaster, SC; Denise Leonard of Pasadena, California and Leslie Thomas (Juan) of San Antonio, Texas.
Private Funeral Service will be conducted by Reverend Jerusha Gaither and Rev. Dr. Waldo Robinson. Viewing will be 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home.
