Our Dear sweet Airlene was born on January 12, 1948 in Vero Beach, FL., to the loving parents the late Deacon James Webb Sr. and Mother Margaret Lee Webb.
“Lene” as she was affectionately known attended the public schools of Indian River County she graduated from Gifford High School the class of 1969. She was employed at Piper Aircraft as an Engineer for several years before she retired. During this time she met and married Richard Dorsey, after he passed she remained in Vero Beach, FL. before deciding to move to West Palm Beach, FL., there she retired. She liked to travel, she enjoyed a tasty seafood meal and loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, she just loved her family all the way round. She was loving, caring, bossy and was just the life of the party , there was not a birthday that she did not miss, she enjoyed watching her soap operas, old westerns and talking on the phone and she would always definitely greet you with a smile, her joyful personality and loving nature will be greatly missed.
Earlier in life she attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Gifford, FL., and became a Christian she grew up in a Christian home with lots of love and attention. She then a became a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Boynton Beach, FL, until her untimely passing.
On Tuesday, July 16, 2019 she quietly made her heavenly transition to be with the Lord, she was preceded in death by her parents James and Margaret Webb Sr., brothers: James Webb Jr. Allen Webb, Virgil Webb and Paul Webb: sisters: Christine Webb, Wynoma Okoye and Rollan Monroe.
Her precious memories will linger in the hearts of her loving and devoted family, daughters: Aurora (Sireron), and Cleshell, granddaughters: Kierra, Kaliyah and Kamya , a grandson Andrew and five great grandkids. Brothers: Lonnie (Saverla) Webb and Willie Webb, Sisters: Margaret Webb (Selton) Whitfield, Ernerstine Webb (Van) Williams, Irene Webb (Robert) Trusty, and Alice Webb (Tommie) Henry , all of Vero Beach, FL. One Uncle Rollen Webb of New Jersey and One Aunt Alice Bell Coleman of Alabama, a host of nieces, nephews , cousins and loving friends and three very special friends Vivian Perry, Reba James and Joyce Wilson.
Public visitation for Airlene Webb Dorsey will take place on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, July 27, 2019 also at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
