Annie Joe Carter Donald was born on August 10, 1947 to the late Margaret Ann Thompkins Carter and Lent C. Carter in Fort Pierce, FL. She attended the public schools of Saint Lucie County ultimately attending Lincoln Park Academy and graduated with the class of 1965. Annie was a wonderful and loving woman who loved her family. Along with loving her family, she had a strong love for the love. She got saved at a very young age and was a faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church for over 22 years. To support her family, she was employed by the church in the custodial and childcare departments. In her spare time, she enjoyed serving the Lord, fishing, and spending time with family.
Her life changed forever when she married the love of her life, Elige Donald on February 26, 1967. This union lasted until his departure on February 15, 2004.
Annie Joe Carter Donald peacefully departed this life on May 15, 2023 to receive her eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her husband: Elige Donald, Sr.; parents: Lent C. Carter, Sr. and Margaret Ann Thompkins Carter; siblings: Dorothy Jean Carter Dixon, Lent Carter, Jr., Margaret Ann Carter Brown, Joyce Marie Carter Dixon.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her children: Sheri Donald, Julie Donald Ingle, Romona Donald-Rudolph, Elige Donald, Jr.; grandchildren: Brittney Livingston(Jason), Courtney Clark, Aliya Muhammad, Malcolm Muhammad, Tatyana Roberts, Jada Owens, Ashley Jeremy Tabor, Travious Williams, Isaiah Williams, Jadelyn Donald, Elijah Roberts, Gabrielle Roberts, Noah Roberts, Azuriah Roberts; 11 great grandchildren; siblings: Shirley Lou Carter Jenkins McKenzie Baldwin and Peggy Carter Rolle; and a host of other family members and sorrowing friends will miss her dearly.
Public visitation for Annie Joe Carter Donald will take place on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral Services will convene on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Learn of Me Church Of God By Faith in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
