Obituary For Belinda Darnell Bowen

Belinda Darnell Bowen was born on January 25, 1952 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Portia Lee Henderson and William “Bill” Lewis. She attended high school at Weaver High School in Hartford, CT.

Belinda worked as a CNA and Med Tech for Amore Dementice Care for many years. She enjoyed listening to music, hosting family gatherings, and caring for others. She was known to have a green thumb and loved spending time gardening. Her interior decorating skills were top-notch and she took pride in decorating her home for every holiday throughout the year. She was a very generous and compassionate person. She was a very classy woman and walked in the spirit of excellence. She was a devoted and faithful member of Resurrection Life Family Worship Center serving in the Ushers and Greeters Ministry.

On February 18, 2019, Belinda answered the call of the Almighty God beckoning her to come home and rest.

Left here to cherish her memory here on earth are her son, Stephen Sonny Pina; daughters, Kimberly(Craig)Starks and Krystalyn(Scott)Shepherd; grandchildren, Rakeem, Latrice, Tanieasha, Roman, Jayla, Xavier, Jordan, Emmanuel, Deshawn, Te-ja; great-grandchildren, Nacyris, Alias, Aziah; sister, Teresa(Carl)Bishop; neice, Nneka Reese; nephew, Marcus(John)Rankin-Williams; special cousin, Amber Henderson; brothers-in-law, Chris(Denise)Bowen and Cliff Bowen; father-in-law, Basil Doran; special friends, Dianne Lang, Elizabeth Martinez, Judy Halpern, and a host of beloved family members, church family, and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

Public visitation for Belinda Bowen will take place on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A celebration of her life will convene on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00am at Resurrection Life Family Worship Center in Fort Pierce, FL.
