Obituary For Carmen Genevievre Pierrelus

Born in La Tortue, an island in the Northwest of Haiti on January 3, 1940 Carmen Genevievre Pierrelus began her journey through life. Carmen was the fifth child of farmer Ulysse Germain and his wife Lorizia Francois. Ulysse, a hardworking man, raised his ten children in a very disciplined way and instilled in them the importance of hard work. It was from there that Carmen learned much of her hard-working skills.

Carmen was first marriage to Florian Petit-Frere while in Haiti. Carmen never had children but loved and adored her nieces and nephews.

Carmen, after the death of her beloved Florian, decided to move to USA in 1976. She met and Married Eliguer Nonor who also pre-deceased her. She lived in Fort Pierce all her life in USA and loved it. Fort Pierce was her home town. She never drove but knew every corner of Fort Pierce.

Carmen was a hard worker. Among all, she worked at Norris and Fly-N-J Restaurant for many years. She would work until she could no longer stand. She was a big fan of Former president Clinton. Her biggest fear was when Clinton left the administration, she believed she would get deported. Carmen was a devoted wife, a good sister and a good aunt. She was a free spirit, a caring, loving person most particularly a God-fearing woman.

She stopped going to church when she started to get sick a lot. When she was unable to tend to herself, she had to move to be closer to her last living sister Vanie Milien in Naples, FL. Carmene was called home on January 31, 2021 living behind the only living sibling Vanie Milien.

Carmen was predeceased by: Mother: Lorizia Francois Father: Ulysse Germain Brother/Sister: Augusta Germain, Mernio Germain, Joachim Germain, Fortunat Odile Germain, Thermon Germain, Anatie Germain, Therese Germain, and Marie Germain Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

Carmen’s love and delightful candor will be missed and we will remember the wonderful times we had with her. May her soul be at peace with our Heavenly Father.

Public visitation for Carmen Genevievre Pierrelus will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A celebration of her life will convene on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 10:00am at the Independent Haitian Assembly of God in Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce, FL.
