Cedieu was born to Verius Desroches and Luna Joseph, he was born on July 16, 1967 in Lagonave Haiti.

Cedieu worked hard as a laborer to provide for his family and only son Pierre- Dony. During his time here in the United States, Cedieu worked at Felix construction and later worked at Precast Specialties as a construction worker.
Cedieu loved spending time in church, reading the bible, preaching the word of God. If Cedieu is not at work or in church, he will be in his garden planting different fruits and vegetables or playing his guitar. Cedieu was a family man, He was a great loving husband, he loved his family so much, he respected everyone no matter the age. Cedieu enjoyed helping the less needy back home either by paying for their schooling or making sure they start a business to be able to help themselves. He did not like to see others suffer.
In the year of 2015, Cedieu met the love of his life Maculeuse and later became husband and wife in April 2018. Cedieu loved his wife dearly and helped her around the house whichever way he could. Cedieu had an inseparable relationship with his wife as well as his family.
