Obituary For Dorothy Ann Strawter
Dorothy Ann Wade was born on March 3, 1954 at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA. Her family later moved to Miami, FL where she received her education at Miami Carol City Senior High School where she graduated and received her diploma in 1972. Dorothy then began her career at the Miami Dade Public School System where she later retired and relocated to Vero Beach, FL.
Dorothy went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2019. She will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Booker T. Wade, Sr. and Harriet Wade.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Lameka Walker, Gabriel walker, Corey Wade, and Gary Monestine; step-children, Precious Strawter and Hailey Strawter; son-in-law, David Hyde; daughter-in-law, Trishawn Wade; grandchildren, La'Nisha Walker-Hyde, David Walker-Hyde, Joshua Walker-Hyde, Shartarra Wade, Owen Wade, Ryan Wade, Sincere Strawter; siblings, Wynell Thomas, Christine Jones, Sylvia Wade, Booker T. Wade, Jr., Joyce Pitts, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Vero Beach, FL beginning at 11:00am.

Accept our sincere sympathies in this difficult time you are going through. I have found the words of Psalms 46:1 really comforting. It reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). I also have come to know that has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).Can you imagine yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? I send my deepest condolences to the all of Dorothy's family. Losing a loved one is one of the most painful experiences people go through. Its times like these I like to turn to the bible as a source of comfort. At Revelation 21:3,4 it describes a future where "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Imagine life without those terrible things! Not only does the bible talk about eliminating death but God promises to resurrect those who have already died. (John 5:28) If you want to learn more about this hope I encourage you to look into and study your bible. I also like to use the website www.jw.org to help me understand what I read in the bible.
