Bofrè was born to Zamoir Jean-Mary and Vermila Denis on October 24, 1954, in a Jean-Rabel, Haiti, Gerard Left this world suddenly on July 29, 2021 at the age 0f 66 in Consulate Health Care of West Palm Beach. Despite his health condition, he was always cheerful and stood strong till his last breath.
In his youth, Gerard practiced carpentry after being forced to leave his homeland and a refugee in the United States in 1980 to seek a better living. Gerard was an honest man, a father, a friend, a brother, an uncle, and a counselor. Gerard loved spending time with friends especially spending his afternoon over his sister Dieumila house. He was kind-hearted, wise, tolerant, and willing to share; He did not like to see people suffer. Gerard had an inseparable relationship for every single person in his family.
As an Immigrant, Gerard established himself as a prep at a local restaurant in order to support his family back home. He then secured a position at MWI Corporation until he became dissabled. In 2016 Gerard left Fort Lauderdale to be closer to his family in port saint Lucie, where he was loved by so many. Gerard travels for eternity to rest waiting for Christ who is the only hope for us Christians who serve him.
Gerard is survived by his sisters Dieumila, Morilia, Clotida; Brother Wilner; Children Dayana, Sarah, Geraldine, Murat,
Neices and Nephew; Shendia, Venise, Linda, Rodeline, Rosenie, Armonie, Amos, Jackson, Peterson and many more in Haiti, great neices and nephews; Na’Liyah, Jaylen, Aiden, Josiah, Ethan, Olivia, Devonte, Rock, Rocky, Fernando, Yole, Marvens, Taliyah, Robensley, Herbens; Great great neices and nephews. Goodbye Uncle Gerard, we will never forget you, Jean-Marie family will never forget you.
Public visitation for Gerard Jean-Marie will take place on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Fort Pierce Haitian United Methodist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. A Celebration of his Life will convene on Saturday, April 14, 2021 also at Fort Pierce Haitian United Methodist in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
