Jessie C. Jones was born on October 31, 1961 in Stuart, FL. He was the sixth child born to Roosevelt Jones, Sr. and the late Annie Mae (Henderson) Jones. During his early years, he attended schools in Indiantown, FL before eventually settling in Fort Pierce FL. Throughout his life, Jessie touched people wherever he went. After moving to Fort Pierce, FL he made many friends and acquaintances while pursuing his dream of becoming a Semi Truck Driver. Wanting to be able to help others in this industry, he decided to start his own business: Jones Convoy, Inc. nearly 15 years ago.
If you ever had any interaction with him then you know that Jessie enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, talking to people, learning about new world views, traveling, watching the Westerns, and most of all reading his Bible and spreading the Gospel. Above all things, Jessie knew and loved The Lord.
His siblings were Barbara Ann Jones (Deceased), Roosevelt Jones Jr. (Deceased) Gloria (Bobby) Bennett, Milton Jones(Deceased) Brenda (Francis David), David Walton (Deceased), Vanessa Jones and Cheyenne Jones.
Jessie passed away on Saturday January 14, 2023.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father, his loved sisters Gloria and Brenda as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends. Jessie was a great man; "one of the last true men of courage and love”.
