Jimmy Earl Lloyd was born on December 23, 1951 to the late Shepard Lloyd and Willie Thomas Lloyd. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Savior and united with the Saint James Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a faithful and dedicated member until he left home to join the United States Air Force. He received public education and graduated from Gentry High School in Indianola, MS.
He was known to his family and friends as Jim. He met his soulmate, Lanay Whitehead, and for four years, they enjoyed a beautiful courtship which resulted in a marriage which lasted for 47 years. To this union only one child was born, Arielle Lloyd Jones. This union was also blessed with two grandchildren, Audrina and Cash Jones. He retired from the Air Force in the medical field which he loved. He also gained recognition throughout the state of Florida and to be the first black male to be hired at HCA Port Saint Lucie Medical Center in Florida. His specialty was having fun and winning baseball games, eight championship games overseas, also four basketball championships for Mac Dill AFB. He also loved being a mason. He loved worshiping God with his Morning Star church family.
On September 28, 2022, he departed this world for his mansion that was prepared by the Almighty God. He was preceded in death his parents: Willie Thomas and Shepard Lloyd.

Public visitation for Jimmy Earl Lloyd will take place on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at a later date in South Florida National Cemetery.
