John Edward Jones Sr. was born to the union of Ervin and Mae Bell Jones in Lake Wales, Florida on January 20, 1954.

John Edward Jones Sr. attended the Public School of St. Lucie County and was employed with the City of Ft. Pierce until he retired.

John Edward Jones Sr. became a member of Church of God By Faith Inc. and served as a Deacon and an Usher under the Pastorship of Elder Gary Robinson.

John Edward Jones Sr. met and married Tammy Graham. Together they joined families

In the early morning hour of July 30, 2021, at Lawnwood Medical Center, God looked for a ready rose. He picked John Edward Jones Sr. and placed him in his heavenly bouquet.

On July 30, 2021 he departed this life to a place of eternal rest and peace. He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Jones; his mother, Mae Bell Jones; his brothers Willie, Lorenzo, and Eugene Jones; his sisters, JoAnn Bell, Myrtice Freeman, and Mae Hester Jones; his daughter Stacey Jones; his father-in-law, James Rodgers Sr., and his sister-in-law, Hattie Wilson.

Left to cherish in his memories: His wife, Tammy Jones of Ft. Pierce, Florida; His sons Christopher Graham of Ft. Pierce, FL., and John Jones Jr. (Lil Bit) of Ft. Pierce, FL.; His daughters Tasha Phelps (Eric) of Lake Wales, Fl., and Shanteka Tubbs of Lake Wales, FL., His stepsons Torris Rodgers of Groveland, FL., Jarvis McCormick of Groveland, FL., Quinton McCormick of Leesburg, FL., Tracy Rucker of Georgia, and Nugene Holzendorf of Georgia; His stepdaughter Sharon Graham of Ft. Pierce, FL.; His Godson Tylar Robin of Ft. Pierce, FL.; His Goddaughter Jessica Hall of Ft. Pierce, FL..

His brother Bill (Rosemary) Jones; His sister Gloria (Charlie Sr.) Ware; His brothers-in-law James (Saundra) Rodgers, Lorenzo (Pamela) Rodgers, Wille (Zettie) Rodgers, Glen (Jennifer) Rodgers; His sisters-in-law Bertha (Anthony) Murphy, Katherine (Richard) Webb, Angela (Martin) Roberts, and Gwendolyn (Willie) Walker.

His only living uncle: Uncle Julius (Sandra) Reed of Ft. Pierce, FL..

He also leaves behind a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Public visitation for John Edward Jones, Sr. will take place on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Graveside funeral services will convene on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am.
