Obituary For Julia Mae Randolph Boston

On July 22, 1929 in Cody, Florida, the late James and Grace Denmark welcolmed their fifth child: Julia Mae Denmark. “Ruby Jean” as she was affectionately known as was reared in Miami, Florida and later around age 12 relocated to Fort Pierce, FL. She attended Lincoln Park until being summoned to the work force to help her family.

In the year of our Lord 1941, at age 12, Julia and her family joined St. Paul AME Church, then, located on 8th street and Avenue B. She served on Usher Board #1, as a choir member, Sunday School teacher, and was later appointed as a Steward. After years of dedicated service, she became a lifetime Steward Emeritus. She was a faithful tither and constantly stated, “if you take care of god’s house, God will take care of your house.” As the older child of her six younger siblings, Julia developed her gift as a caregiver. That lead to her calling and career in nursing. This passionate call of a nurturer birthed the Randolph Boarding Home where many lived often feeling a sense of family. Julia expanded her empire through various real estate investments and business ventures. She was undeniably a woman her family raised up and called “Blessed” (Proverbs 31:28). In 1948, she met and married the late Charlie D. Randolph. From this union came her most treasured gifts: Curtis Sr., McClendon(deceased), Peggy(deceased), Charles, and Tommy Randolph. In 1998, she married Homer Boston they remained together until she took her final rest.

On Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Sis. Boston answered the call of the Master bidding her to come home and take her rest.
