On January 31, 2020, with her family at her side, Juliette passed away. Leaving to mourn her death are her children, nephews, nieces, sisters, brother, grandchildren, and many friends. She has touched the hearts of many. She is a person of compassion and love. A mother to some; nut mostly a dear friend to all.
Juliette was born on May 24, 1947 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Seeking a better life for herself and her children, Juliette migrated to Canada in 1969 and stayed there until 1980. She then moved to Texas, United States in 1985. In 1989, she relocated to Port Saint Lucie, FL from New Jersey. Once in Florida, she felt the urge to a different calling; and with her love and compassion for others, she became a health care provider. She graduated from nursing in April of 1994. She was a hard worker. Nevertheless, she continued to enjoy cooking, baking, and sharing her recipes with her friends and family. On any given day, you could visit Juliette and you would never leave her house hungry. Juliette enjoyed cooking and baking her famous sweet potato puddings and making her famous ginger beer. These items were legendary and always in demand.
If you could think of one word to categorize her, it would be “servant.” Juliette enjoyed the comfort of her home. She also loved music and wrestling. You could hear her scream of laughter and delight when she knew her favorite wrestler won.
Juliette was a great woman; ease your hearts; let there be no remorse. Remember her for her laugh and good will. Search your memories for times of joy; thus honor forever.
