Latisha Michelle Williams was born on October 28, 1975 to the late Margo L. Burgess and Freddie Leon Williams. Latisha was an amazing person. She matriculated through the public schools of Saint Lucie County graduating from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1992. After high school, she furthered her education at Indian River State College of which she obtained a license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked in multiple nursing facilities and private aid duties for over 20 years. Latisha loved the Lord with all of her heart, mind, soul. She loved to pray and sing. Latisha was an amazing cook and baker.
On June 24, 2022 the book of life was closed for Latisha Michelle Williams. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margo L. Burgess; father, Freddie Leon Williams; brother, Corey Burgess; grandparents, Louise Williams and Fred L. Williams, Theodosha Jones; nephew, Antonio C. Johnson.
Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Willie T. Burgess and Shawn Burgess of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sisters, Latonya Burgess of West Palm Beach, FL and Latoya Doe(Marvin) of Hawkinsville, GA; aunts, Angela Lewis of Tampa, FL, Mary Fusion of Council Buff, IA, Joye Walker of Savannah, GA, Nakesha Williams of Macon, GA; best friends, Tanqula Davis and Shalonda Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends who will miss her.
Memorial services for Latisha Michelle Williams will convene on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 2:00pm.
Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
