Mary Ann Wright-Moore was born on January 6,1952, the third of nine children in Ft. Pierce, FL to the late Marie Covington - Wright and Henry Wright
Mary Ann received her education in St. Lucie County Public Schools graduating from Lincoln Park Academy in 1970. Mary Ann furthered her education with Webster College where she received her Certified Nursing Degree.
Mary Ann spent her time enjoy those around her. She was very loving and helpful to anyone that she met. When it came to family Mary Ann loved her family with open arms and open heart.
On the morning of October 20, 2020, Mary Ann heard the Master's call. As she was surrounded by her family, she answered and departed this life. She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Covington, her father Henry Wright, her sisters Rose Wright-Ray, Louise Wright-Reeves, her brothers Henry Wright, Huey Wright, John Wright, John-Daniel Wright, Gregory Wright Sr.
The precious memories of Mary Ann will be left in the heart of her true love her husband, Clarence Moore; her daughters, LaCandice (Frank) Brinson and LaPearl (Elfred) Moore; her granddaughter, Kev’Mya Brunson; her grandsons, Elijah Miller and Jaiden Hickman; her step children, Clarence (Mary) Ghee, Lanita Ghee, Clarence-Alexander ( Shaniqua) Moore all of Ft. Pierce, FL, Peautrice (Carl) Johnson; her sisters, Sarah (James) Robbins of Savanah Ga, Shirley (Edward) Patrick of Ft. Pierce, FL, Doretha (Maurice) Colter of Washington D.C. and Doris (Jimmy) Robinson of Ft. Pierce, FL; her adopted sister/niece, Sonya Covington (Darrick) Noble; her brothers, George Wright of Ft. Pierce, FL, Mac Ray Wright of Okeechobee, FL; her sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Wilson of Nassau, Bahamas, Beulah Wright of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Lila Johnson of Ft. Pierce, FL, Thelma Ross and Janice Moore of Daytona Beach, FL; her brothers-in-law, Levon Moore of Ft. Pierce, FL, Dennis(Carol) Moore, Benny Moore, Cornelius (Karen) Moore, Cleophus (Barbara) Moore all of Daytona Beach, FL; her special godson, Cleveland Ingram of Ft. Pierce, FL; her god children, Ladarius Brown, Anthony, Terry, Kelvin, Charles, Octavious, Gail, Dorthy and Yasche Ingram, and Vicderria Rolle; her god sister, Dorothy Magwood of Lakewood Park, FL; best friends, Elizabeth Harris, Lorraine Belizaire, Audrey Greenslade, Lorraine Porter, and Clifford (Lisa) Graham all of Ft. Pierce, FL and a host of nieces, nephew, godchildren and sorrowing friends whom will miss her dearly.
Public visitation for Mary Ann Moore will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Voice of Truth Tabernacle in Fort Pierce, FL between the hours of 3:00pm and 6:00pm. A celebration of her life will commence on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00pm at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Masks are MANDATORY and must be worn on both days in order to be admitted inside.
Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID 19 have been relaxed, we here at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
