Patricia Ann Morgan was born to the late Samuel and Annie F. Allen on February 4, 1949, in Fort Pierce, Florida. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, where she was educated in the Saint Lucie County School District while attending Lincoln Park Academy during her K-12 years, graduating in 1967. Upon graduation from high school, Patricia attended a local business college in Jacksonville, Florida.
Patricia met and married Ernest L. Morgan, Sr. on February 12, 1972. To their union were born three children: Tiffany T. Owens, Ernest L. Morgan, Jr., and Erna P. Morgan.
Patricia began her career as an office clerk at Fort Pierce Central High School. Soon after, she became employed by Indian River Community College with the Migrant Farm Workers Education Program. After a fulfilling career, Patricia retired from Indian River State College in 2009.
Patricia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1976 and was a lifelong member of Johnson Temple Church Of God In Christ in Fort Pierce, Florida. She served faithfully under the pastorate of the late Bishop E.D. Johnson, the late Superintendent James N. Hall, Bishop Jared E. Hines, Elder Marvin L. James, and Elder Anthony G. Allen, Ph.D. Patricia was active in her local church, serving in various ministries. She accepted the call to ministry and was licensed as an Evangelist Missionary in the Church Of God In Christ. Serving at her local church, Patricia was a member of the Young Adult Choir and Hall’s Mass Choir as a lead vocalist and choir director. She was also the Home and Foreign Mission president, Sunday School teacher, Young People Willing Worker teacher, and a praise and worship leader.
Missionary Patricia A. Morgan was active on the District, Jurisdictional, and National levels of the Church of God in Christ. She was a member of the Cocoa District Choir, the Eastern Florida Jurisdictional Choir, and the International Choir of the Church of God in Christ.
After completing her assignment here on earth, Missionary Patricia A. Morgan departed this life to her heavenly home on the morning of Friday, May 19, 2023. Missionary Patricia A. Morgan was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Annie F. Allen; step-brother, Oswald Allen; uncle, Jessie Miller; aunts, Ferma Lee Robinson and Mary Miller; and brothers-in-law, Johnny Morgan and Donald Morgan.
A lifetime of memories will be forever cherished by her daughters: Tiffany T. Owens and Erna P. Morgan; son: Ernest L. Morgan, Jr; step-son: Shawn Morgan; brother: Anthony G. Allen (Nicole); brothers-in-law: Joe Earl Morgan (Nancy), Gregory Morgan (Alyson), and Morris Morgan; sisters-in-law: Ernestine Morgan (Johnny), Ernestine Butler (Clinton), and Shirley Allen; uncle: David Robinson; grandchildren: Edward Owens, Daijia Owens, Justin Owens, Thaddeus Owens, Armani Dixon, Nicholas Owens, Bryson Owens, Miles Owens, and Sydnee Morgan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and best friend: Agnes Moore. Missionary Patricia A. Morgan will forever be in the hearts of many and missed in the thoughts of all.
Public visitation for Missionary Patricia A. Morgan will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5:00pm-6:00pm which will be followed by a Wake Service from 6:00pm-7:00pm all taking place at Johnson Temple Church Of God In Christ in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral Services will convene on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 13th Street Church of God, “Greater Faith” in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Pat was a wonderful part of my childhood. She will aways be remembered.
