Niles Tremayne Hightower, “Our Gentle Giant”, was born on October 12, 1975 in Fort Pierce, FL to the late Ralph Hightower, Jr. and Elizabeth Hightower Morrison. He had the pleasure of being raised by his step father, the late Timothy Morrison. He attended Fort Pierce Central High School and graduated in 1995. Niles was a dedicated employee of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and cooking was his ultimate favorite thing to do. Standing tall at 6’8”, basketball was his passion, fishing was his hobby, and ALL DAY LONG HE DREAMED ABOUT SPORTS!!! He also loved music and art. #TeamHightower was formed and “the two became ONE” when he married LaTwanjala “Dee” Perry on December 3, 2009. He was a phenomenal husband, amazing father, wonderful son, great brother, and a friend to everyone he came in contact with. On the morning of October 21, 2018, Niles received his wings and departed this life on a journey to a heavenly home. Left to cherish and honor his legacy are his wife, LaTwanjala Perry-Hightower, children, Corporal Stacey Hightower, Casey Hightower, Tania Hightower, Ashaad Hightower, On’Dro Hollis-Perry, Ta’Querious Hightower, Cordelia Hollis, Kameron Morris, grandchildren, Casey L. Public visitation for Mr. Niles Hightower will take place on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Main Street Church of God in Melbourne, FL between the hours of 5pm-7pm. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 10:00am in Vero Beach, FL.
