Paul Thomas Williams, Jr. was born on November 11, 1944 in Fort Pierce, FL to Paul and Burnice Green Williams. Paul matriculated through the public school system ultimately graduating from Lincoln Park Academy with the class of 1963. Upon graduation, he attended and graduated from Lincoln Junior College. He later graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Webster University. He also went on to Florida A & M University to become an RN. After receiving all of this education, Paul enlisted and served in the United States Army from December 17, 1965-November 29, 1968. He attended Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church and later returned to Fort Pierce to join Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. Paul worked faithfully with Sarah’s Kitchen, Prayer Ministry, and Sons of Allen(Fort Pierce Health Care).
On February 7, 2020, Paul answered the call of the Master and went to receive his eternal rest.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his sisters, Rev. Pauline Williams and Rene Murphy both of Fort Pierce, FL, Mary Wilkerson of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Pastor John(Janice)Williams, Tomilee(Carrie)Williams, and Isaiah Williams all of Jacksonville, FL; special relatives, Rev. Ned(Antoinette)Childress; nieces, Bernice Hassan and Voydnita(Bernard)Jethroe both of Fort Pierce, FL, and Keisha(Wakoto)Rentz of Tampa, FL; nephews, Eddie Anderson of Jacksonville, FL and Calvin Matthew Johnson of New York, NY; godson, Arthur Wilkerson of Jacksonville, FL; great aunt, Ora Lee Williams Lewis of Fort Pierce, FL and a host of other cousins, friends, and church family who will miss him deeply.
Funeral services for Paul Thomas Williams, Jr. will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce, FL.
