Obituary For Reatha Gray

Reatha Gray was born on October 15, 1920 in Madison, Florida to the late Richard and Josie Davis. She was married to George W. Gray.

On January 26, 2023 she was ready to run home with God and start her new journey in heaven with her long white wings. She was preceded in death by her husband: George W. Gray; daughter: Susie M. Gray; sons: Donald Gray, Calvin Gray, Willie Gray, Joseph Gray, and Leroy Gray.

She leaves to mourn: Josie Lee Portee (Clarence Portee) of Indiantown, FL, Theodore Gray of Lakeland, FL, John Gray (Althea Gray) and Will Gray of Fort Lauderdale, FL, George Gray (Marvett Gray) and Betty Gray of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Geneva Thompkins of Riviera Beach, FL, Hannah M. Gray and Rose Ella Gray of EH, CT; 27 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Public visitation for Reatha Gray will take place on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral Services will convene on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in Indiantown, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Port Mayaca Cemetery.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
