A gentle soul known to many simply as “Pip”. Robert Earl Adams was born on October 7, 1951 in Greenville, Alabama to the late J.C. and Ola V Adams. The family moved to Ft Pierce where he was educated and graduated from Ft. Pierce Central High School, Class of 1971. After graduation, Robert enlisted in the United States Army and later married Linda Reaves of Ft. Pierce. During this union 4 children were born.
On August 7, 2021, Robert’s life book closed at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie. He was preceded in death by his parents J.C. and Ola Adams; son, Michael Parker, granddaughter Chacoryia Lashay Winsley Adams, brothers J. C. Adams Jr., Michael Adams, Lee Frank Adams, Lewis V. (Thomasina) Adams, Tommy James Adams, and Larry C. (Patsy) Adams; sisters Ola Mae Adams, Annie Pearl Reynolds, and Jerolean Davidson.
Left to cherish his fond memories are his children: sons, Robert (Antonesia) Adams of Orlando, Fl and Linden (Miesha) Adams of Fort Pierce, Fl; daughters, Latonya Adams of Hartford, Connecticut, Robin Adams of Orlando, Fl, Tretisha Adams of Tampa, Fl and Asia Adams of Fort Pierce; sisters, Mary Broughton (Willie Joe), Annie Burch, Arella Adams, all of Fort Pierce, Delois Walcott of Mesquite, Texas and Virginia Adams of Fort Pierce; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Public visitation for Robert Earl Adams will take place on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Graveside services will convene on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 10:00am.
Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. We ask that you respect this, as it could very well save your life. We also ask that you acknowledge and execute the 6 feet social distancing guidelines as well.
