Serge Emmanuel Drouillard was born on December 25, 1950 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to the late Celiane Joachim and Louis E. Drouillard. Choube was very creative since he was a child. He created dog chains with metal hangers and engraved designs into stamps creating molds. He attended the local schools of his hometown and then went to pursue a post-secondary education which lead him to receive a degree in literature and publishing from George Marc. Upon completion of this, he secured a job as a bookbinder and security for Publishing Co. and McRobert’s Security. Choube loved animals and they were attracted to him also. He compared himself to a turtle since he carried himself just as smooth, and took his time to perfect anything he did.
Ever since he had been a child, he loved to praise God. He volunteered at his church as an altar boy. Choube was a devoted believer in God. He read his bible daily and lived his life very close to the word. He didn’t get baptized, but he followed the teaching of the Jehovah Witnesses.
Choube was a man of great dignity always keeping his head held high and putting his strength and focus in all that he did. As a result of this, he maintained a great relationship with family and solid relationships with childhood friends.
On November 16, 2021, Choube’s chapter of life was closed and he peacefully departed this world. He was preceded in death by his mother, Celiane Joachim; father, Louis E.
