Stephen Pinkney, Sr., son of I.J. and Rachel Pinkney was born December 28, 1957 in Vero Beach, FL. He served in the US Army for many years. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Charlene Dickerson Pinkney. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, our Heavenly Father sent His angel from heaven to take a blossom from our garden at the VNA Hospice Home.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Charlene Dickerson Pinkney of Fort Pierce, FL; children, Stefan Pinkney and Yashica Pinkney both of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Cathy Jackson; granddaughter, Tiana Pinkney of Vero Beach, FL; Mother-in-Law, Elizabeth Freeman; Mother of children, Deborah Denise Pinkney of Vero Beach, FL; uncles, Emerson(Margaret)Pinkney of Fort Myers, FL and Matthew Pinkney of Camilla, Georgia; sisters, Annie Lou Rice, Irene(William)Spence of Pelham, Georgia, Christen(Matthew)Green of Maryland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.
A Visitation for Mr. Stephen Pinkney Jr., will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Vero Beach from 5 - 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
