Teresa Ann Williams was born in Fort Pierce, Fla on March 7, 1963, to the late Barbara Johnson and Samuel Harold Hayward and resided in Ft. Pierce, Fla. Teresa is also preceded in death by her son Bobby E. Ashley and her stepfather Toney Johnson Sr.
Teresa received her early education in St Lucie County School System up to the 9th grade. She was a member of St. Matthew M.B.C. She worked diligently in food and customer service industry until she became fully disabled in the 2021.
In her early adult years she was married the Emmitt King and through this union two sons were born. Years later a third son was born. In her early years Teresa had many struggles, but through the grace of God she overcame those crippling obstacles and began a new life. Although Teresa had many things against her she had God always with her. Teresa was never ashamed of past, but embraced it as she moved to her destiny.
Twenty years ago Teresa relocated to Stuart, Florida where she met the love of life Beauford Williams. Three years later they were united in holy matrimony on November 23rd of 2004. Several years later a recovering addict became a homeowner in Hobe Sound, Florida.
Teresa lived a life where she loved to make her family and friends laugh with her stories of her past or present situation. She loved cooking for her family and most of all she loved watching old cowboy movies and comedy shows. On September 25th, early in the evening hours she received a call that she had to answer. She leaves to cherish her true love Beauford Williams; two sons Dontavious Mullikin of Pt. St. Lucie, Nicholas (Jacqueline) of Ft. Pierce, a stepsons Donavan Williams of Ft. Pierce, Isaih Williams and stepdaughter Jennifer Williams both of Ocala, Fla; five brothers Derrick Green of Martin County, Samuel Leon Hayward of North Carolina, Terrance (Sonita) Hayward of Hobe Sound, Fla, Steven Hayward of Perry, Fla and Sam Peak of Ft Pierce Fla and one sister Deborah (Chemaly) Fleury Sr. of Ft. Pierce; brother in laws: Willie (Rosetta) Williams of Montgomery, AL, Levon ( Phyllis) Vereen of Ocala, Fla; sister in laws Annie (Willie) Morgan, Mary Williams and Loretta Vereen all of Ocala, Fla; granddaughters Lola and Layla King and Lillie Clark; nephews Derrick Green, Nathaniel Green, Chemaly Fleury Jr. Marcus Mintz, Tyrek Jones, Samuel Hayward Jr, great nephew Raiir Alexis; two nieces Aliah Fleury and Bree Hayward. Teresa has a host of uncles/aunts and cousins. Her Uncle Jimmy (Lottie) Young were her dearest uncle and aunt. She carried a special place in her heart for her two closes friends Darline Leavy and Cynthia Martin.
Public visitation for Teresa Ann Williams will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 4:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
