Obituary For Travis Jerome McDougald
Travis Jerome McDougald was born on January 10, 1993 in Orlando, Florida. He was the only child born to Johnnie Ruth McDougald and Roderick Jerome McDougald.
He received his basic education in the St. Lucie County school system. He attended Lincoln Park Academy graduating in the class of 2011. He was an avid sports fan with Florida State being his favorite.
He was employed at Ralph Lauren, Vero Beach Florida, until he relocated to North Carolina. While residing in Roxboro, North Carolina, he was employed with Orange County Waste Pro. Travis enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes with his Grandmother, Louise. He loved the Lord and his family dearly. He also read his Bible daily. Just before his passing he started studying the book of Revelation with his Mother, his best friend.
He attended St. James Baptist Church in Leesburg, North Carolina. Growing up as a child he attended Greater Faith.
Travis was preceded in death by his Grandfathers: John Anderson and Tommy McDougald. Great Grandfathers: Sam Anderson and Troy Davis. Grandmother: Daisy Anderson. Great Grandmothers: Annie Anderson and Jimmie Lee Davis. Uncles: Willie Anderson, Freddie Anderson, and Harry Anderson. Aunts: Bonnie Faye Davis and Cheryl Robertson..
Left to cherish his memories and keep close to their hearts. Parents: Roderick McDougald and Johnnie Ruth McDougald Grandmother: Louise Smith Sisters: Crystal Booker and Rashelle Booker of Fort Pierce. Nephews: Christian and Landon Judon of Fort Pierce. A host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Public visitation for Travis Jerome McDougald will take place on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 13th Street Church of God in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in HIllcrest Memorial Gardens.
Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. Travis was my best friend throughout elementary and middle school. He was one of the nicest, smartest, most polite, and funniest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We used to always have so much fun together talking about music and sharing a huge love for professional wrestling when we were kids. Travis will be greatly missed. -Brett Bailey
