Today, I learned that this blessed man had gone yo be with the Father God! My heart hurts knowing that I was not aware of his homegoing! I was so blessed to have known this gentleman. He invited me into his family when I was a student at FAMU! I was so blessed as he became my uncle by marriage. Life go forth and time goes forward I have not had contact for many years! Yet, to hear he is no longer here is painful ! I send love and my condolences to Glady, Angela and Ronnie and the family. I am sorry that I was not there to celebrate his Homegoing Celebration! But, today I send love and God's blessing from my heart! You are in my heart! 🤗❤️🙏🏾
Angela my prayers are with you and your family. Trevita Washington Willis
Our deepest condolences to the Lang family on the passing of Coach Lang, a true LEGEND. His Legacy will be remembered forever and will continue to be passed on. His coaching, teaching, mentoring and life lessons will never depart for he has touched so many lives including my husband and I. Coach and Dr. Lang knew my family and I grew up knowing them. I attended NYSP, worked NYSP, took his Health class and finally got the greatest opportunity of all, to run on "HIS" FAMU track team. He loved, taught, mentored and coached unconditionally. He had a heart of gold with his radiant smile and contagious laugh. Thank you for sharing with us. Rest in Peace my dearest Coach Lang for whom I affectionately know as the true "GOAT." I LOVE YOU!
