A Celebration of Life honoring Reverend Derek Maurice Steele will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.

Thank you my friend for the times in high school and life. You were always there for me and Carl. You were a great and faithful leader. Prayers with love to Pastor Tille son and family. God bless each of you.
My sympathy, thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Praying your strength, peace and comfort doing this grieving process. I have nothing but fond memories of Pastor Derek. Such a gentle and humble spirit. I witness his love and compassion for ministering to the lost ,hurting and those that were incarcerated. Family, keep looking to and trusting God.
