Obituary For Leo Foster
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Leo Field Foster Sr.
Leo Field Foster Sr., the son of the late Ray Foster and Mary Wells Bryant was born February 14, 1933 in Tallahassee, Florida (Leon County).
He was educated in the public school of Leon County and graduated from Lincoln High School. He gave his life to Jesus Christ in his later years. He was employed with the Federal Reserve Bank of Los Angles and retired after 35 years of service.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Leo Foster Jr. (Miriam) of Jacksonville, FL; and a daughter-in-law, Ernestine Foster of Oviedo, FL.; six grandchildren, Leyah, Irelind, Tyrone, Vernon Jr., Mario and Warren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Chief Quartermaster Vernon T. Foster, Jr. and Roman Foster.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Strong & Jones Chapel, with burial at Southside Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 6 P.M. Monday, December 8, 2025 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
