Luella Bryant Barber
Tallahassee - Luella Bryant Barber, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center with burial at Bethel Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 11 AM to 6 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home. Service may be viewed via Youtube at http://www.TallahasseeVirtualmemorials.com.
Mrs. Barber was self-employed and a member of St. Rosa P.B. Church. She was a deeply treasured, loving wife and mother who blessed everyone with her laughter and strength of character.
Survivors include her loving husband, George Barber; a daughter, Sharon Barber Haymon; three grandchildren, Delray Haymon, Nicole Haymon and Osha Barber; two great grandchildren, Ayden Andrews and Ivory Barber; a brother, Henry Bryant Jr.; six sisters, Mary (Jimmy) Collins, Ella Brookins (Ronald) Jones, Barbara Brookins, Frankie Brookins Jerger, Leola Brookins Carter and Debra Brookins (Samuel) Davis;
Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by her son, Terrell Barber and her parents, Henry Bryant Sr. and Leola Lovett Bryant Brookins.
The family expresses sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Chris DeRosier, nurses and staff.
