I worked for Margaret at the DOE Comptroller's Office in the early 1980s. She was my first boss after I graduated from college. She had high expectations of her staff, and the knowledge and guidance she gifted to me helped to launch my 38 year career in public education finance and accounting. I will always admire her and remember her fondly. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.
