Charlie Martin Jr.
Tallahassee - Charlie Martin Jr. 83, passed on Sunday, June 6, 2021 surrounded by family at the Big Bend Hospice.
Funeral service will be 1 P.M. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Greater Mt. Zion P.B. Church, 1819 Saxon Street with burial at Southside Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 6 P.M. Friday, June 18, 2021 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
He was a longtime member of Greater Mt. Zion Church, under the leadership of Rev. Wilson.
Survivors include three daughters, Lydia (Anthony) Chairs, Twanna (Ken) Kilpatrick Waverly and Sharon Davis; one son, Charles (Betty) Martin; one sister, Delores (Russell) Davis; one brother, Sammie Martin; a god daughter, Katherine Caldwell; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Francis Martin "Tootsie".
