It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Eddie Lee Dickey.
Eddie Lee Dickey, 86, of Tallahassee, FL transitioned peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church, with burial at church cemetery. Public viewing will be 12 Noon to 6 PM, Fri., Oct. 11th at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
Left to cherish Eddie's memory are his wife, Elouise Dickey; children, Eddie Lee Dickey (Beverly McGriff) Alicia Jones (Bobby), Cassandra Chester, Karen Harrison (Gary), Holley vicker (Vince) and Monica Nash (Johnny); sisters, Rebecca Ardley, Pennie Hawkins, Cornelius Deboles (Donald), Mary Gilliam, Eliza Vaughn, Classie Williams, Sallie Smith, Alberta Thompson, Catherine Lawyer and Inez Washington; brothers, Roscoe Dickey, Sr., (Valerie), Amos Dickey, Sr. (Carrie), Franklin Dickey, Sr., Leroy Dickey (Maxine) and Joseph Smith (Vanessa); sisters-in-laws, Ruby Dickey and Gwendolyn Dickey; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
