Obituary For Mr. Fred Columbus Young
Fred Columbus Young 75, died Thursday, June 15, 2023.
Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Strong & Jones Chapel.
Burial will be 12 :00 (Noon) Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Kelderick Young; one brother, Forrest Young Jr. (Betty); four sisters, Violet Washington, Ernestine Henry, Olivia Henry and Lynconyer Young-Caldwell (George); 4 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Thomas and Hazella Brown;

I received a message from him after Harold passed.. Always so sweet & thoughtful! Fred loved his family & friends dearly & he will be missed! Treasure your sweet memories as he will be with us all forever in our hearts!🙏🏽💕
Fred, you will really be missed! If I had a choice of picking a younger brother....you would have been it! Your caring and loving disposition will be missed by many, far and near; and especially the community we grew up in.
