Harvey Lee LaCount, Sr., 82, departed from this life on August 5, 2023, in Tallahassee, Florida, surrounded by his loved ones.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday August 12, 2023 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, with burial at Southside Cemetery. Viewing will be from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm followed by a wake service from 5:00 pm- 6:00 pm, Friday, August 11, 2023 at Strong and Jones Chapel.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Ernestine LaCount; four children, Arva Demps (Vinson), Harvey LaCount Jr., Nicole LaCount Jefferson and Sharon Lopez; nine grandchildren, Vinson Demps, Jr, Harvey LaCount III, Azsah Demps, Indyia LaCount, Jamari Jefferson, I’Asia LaCount, Vincent Hamilton, LaTavia Lopez, and Sharonda Williams; six siblings, Viola Gibson, Elijah LaCount, Lillian Stinson, Seaner Robbins, Johnny LaCount, and Alonzo LaCount and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
