It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jerald V. Montgomery.
Jerald Vonche Montgomery, 48, died Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on January 2, 1977.
Funeral Service will be 10 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center, with burial at Oakland Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 6 P.M. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Strong and Jones Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet guests and friends from 5 to 6 P.M.
He is survived by his three children, Camille and Chloe Montgomery, (their mother, LaToya Montgomery) and Caelen Montgomery, (his mother Antwana Watts); mother, Doris Montgomery; sisters, Teresa Marshall and Stephanie Brown; brother, Pastor Ervin Montgomery Jr. (Toshiba); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Montgomery Sr.

Whenever I would see Jerald, I always call him "brother in law". He would smile and give me a hug. Jerald was always a gentle, sweet person. Hearing of his passing truly sadden me. But, we all know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD!! My sincere condolences to his children that he loved so much and his family!! Stay in prayer!!!!
