Rickey Palmer, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. Rickey was a member of Friendship A.M.E. Church. He was educated in the Leon county schools, attending the original Lincoln High School before serving in the United States Army. He was retired from Tallahassee State College.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Ba’Shaun Henry (Rodney, Sr.) and Sebrena Randolph (Earl); son, Corey; two granddaughters, Kiaya and Maleah Randolph; three grandsons, Rodney II, Ryan, and Coy Henry all of Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Horace Wright (Brenda) and Randell Allen of Tallahassee, FL, and Ronald Wright (Ingrid) of Sacramento, CA; sister, Claudia Young of Tallahassee, FL; sister-in-laws, Helen Worthy of Dothan, AL, Clara Palmer and Stacy Allen of Tallahassee, FL; aunt, Mattie Reveire of Ann Arbor MI; devoted friend, Ethel Harvey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship A.M.E. Church, 5979 Old Bainbridge RD, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
To The Family: I went to school with Rickey. He was a fun-loving and outgoing person, friendly and caring. To each of you I sincerely pray that God will comfort you and bring you peace that passes all understanding. Carol Feagin
