Tallahasse - Delores Marie Mitchell Williams, 76, departed this life Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.
Delores was born on December 11, 1944 in Tallahassee, FL, where she attended public schools in Leon County.
Delores had been a self-employed custodian. She was a former member of Little St. Mary P.B. Church. She loved vegetables, flower gardening, cooking, fishing and working with the Widows and Widowers Association of Strong & Jones Funeral Home. Her passion and true calling was helping others.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Tyrone, Alvin and John (Pumpkin); seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Washington Mitchell and Allie Odom; a grandson, Jeremy Tyrone and her brother, Charles Mitchell.
Funeral service will be 12 (Noon) Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Strong & Jones Chapel with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, April 9, 2021 from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
