I first met Edith at work many years ago. It took hardly any time at all to love this lady that had a heart full of love for her Lord & Savior. She was devoted to her family & when she spoke of them you heard a note of pride, love & joy (her family extended to many, but Connie & Shi were her heart). Edith had many friends & her love extended to those she called her friend. My husband, our children, grands & even my extended family was included in her love she freely gave. It was a true blessing & joy to know Edith. She was a true friend & we all will miss her. Over the years as I worked with her, she never changed, not in her faith, nor her love for people! Her heart was just that full of love. Edith was a very special lady, a lady with a heart for Christ & following Him in life was, I believe, what made her so special. She firmly stood by her faith. A person with a heart full of love to give, one who loved life, living it & bringing laughter in & around those she was with. It was truly an honor to know this lady & call her our friend. This is the Edith I knew & loved. We loved Edith & our hearts are heavy! Edith is now at home with Jesus, she's at peace. We can only imagine the pure Joy she is experiencing today. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with Shi'Keria and family. May God watch over you & comfort you during your time of sorrow.

Words cannot express how saddened we are to learn of your loss. I first met Edith while she worked with my mother, Yulondia Wilson, at FSU Athletics. We all quickly became friends. Edith had a heart of gold, a thoughtful, kind, caring lady, whose smile was contagious. Edith remained close to my family and we will miss her dearly. Those that touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. Praying for strength and comfort and may you feel God's loving embrace around you.
