Monticello - Mother Hannah Thompson, 93, passed on Sunday, June 6, 2021 surrounded by family at Capital Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Casa Bianca Missionary Baptist Church, 1097 Waukeenah Hwy, with burial Byrd Cemetery, both in Monticello, FL.
Viewing will be from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home, followed by viewing from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Casa Bianca Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a longtime member of Casa Bianca Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board.
Survivors include her four sons, Johnny (Barbara) Monroe, Lake Alfred FL, Carl (Gertha) Madison, Tallahassee, FL, Victor Glenn, Marvin (Alnita) Howard and Gerald Howard, all of Monticello, FL; six daughters, Linda (Thomas) Russ, Tallahassee, FL, Joyce Bruton, Ocoee, FL, Debra (Jack) Reshard, Karen (Mike) Jackson, all of Tallahassee, FL, Angela Howard, Monticello, FL and Marion (Milton) Anderson, Orlando, FL; one sister, Georgia Tarver, Winter Haven, FL; daughter-in-law, Jackie Glenn, Atlanta, GA; godson, Michael Allen, along with a host of grands, great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends
To Family of ms.Hannah Thompson we share are lot of laughter working on that nursery.she live or long beautiful life. HANNAH WERE SWEET PERSON ALL WAYS GOOD PERSONALITY. DAUGHTERS And Son.God will strenght yours weakness.it hard.my mother work with Hannah along with my sisters.R.I.P.
